Since the beginning of school will look a bit different this year, we’re making a modification to the way we’ve conducted this event. We have historically offered this opportunity for students to meet their teacher, see their new classroom environment, and drop off any school supplies so as to unencumber their arms on their first day of school. This year, we’ll do the same with a few nuances. Since we are unable to welcome families into the classroom on July 30, I encourage you to have a first day dress rehearsal on July 29. Not only can we accomplish all the goals stated above, we can easily stage first day pictures during this time both outside the school, outside the classroom, and even at their desks.
In an effort to minimize the number of families in our classrooms at any one time, please observe social distancing courtesies and the schedule below for all grades from Kindergarten through Fifth Grade:
1:00 PM – Families with last names beginning with A-G
1:30 PM – Families with last names beginning with H-M
2:00 PM – Families with last names beginning with N-S
2:30 PM – Families with last names beginning with T-Z
3:00 PM – Families who have, for whatever reason, missed their appointed time
